I went into Sephora the other day to restock on some of my everyday makeup items, but then I saw this palette, which I’ve had my eye on for a while now, and picked it up as well. Let me tell you I most certainly do not regret it and I managed to get the last one they had!

First of all can we talk about how gorgeous this packaging is! It’s pink and glittery with reflective lettering, what more can you ask for. My only complaint is that there is no mirror.
This palette comes with 6 shades in a range of colors, which is why it seems to be great for so many different skin tones. My favorites are 143 (rose gold with bronze shimmer) and Kitty Kat (pink with platinum shimmer). To be honest I wasn’t sure how some of the shades would look on my skin because I’m quite tan, but all the shades seem to swatch well.

These highlighters have some serious pigmentation, which is why I love Anastasia highlighters so much. A little goes a long way, so they last a long time. All the shades are super shimmery and reflective, which is perfect because I’m not a ‘subtle highlight’ kind of person. I go all the way when it comes to highlighter haha. However if you’re not like me, you can use just a bit of product and a light hand to achieve a more subtle look.

Overall I would rate these highlighters very highly and definitely recommend purchasing them if you’re interested.

As you may know, the Royal Peach Palette went back in stock a few weeks ago and I managed to get my hands on one!

First of all the packaging is so beautiful and I love the rose gold, metallic lettering on the front. The palette also comes with a brush, which a lot of palettes do. In most palettes the brush that is included doesn’t work well and I never use them. However, this brush is actually really great quality, and I can definitely see myself using it when doing my makeup. It’s perfect for blending and defining the outer corner and crease.
Next I want to talk about the pigment of the eyeshadows. The colors that are very sparkly have good pigment and can be built up if you want. Some of the shimmery shadows are a bit dry, but if you apply them with a damp brush they would probably apply better and with more intensity, so I recommend trying that. The colors that have the best pigment in my opinion are the completely matte shades. The first time I used them I quickly realized how pigmented they were, as I had put WAY too much on my brush, whoops. The matte shades were very smooth and blendable, like they are in her other eyeshadow palettes. The shade I was most excited for was Royal, which is the royal blue color. I was kind of disappointed at the lack of pigment it had compared to all of the rest of the shadows, but it if you pack it onto the lid it can be built up. From looking at my own swatches and other people’s reviews it seems Royal tends to swatch poorly, but is fine when on the eye.

Just a note, I’ve heard some people complaining about the smell of the eyeshadows in this palette and how they smell like chemicals or something, but you can barely smell anything unless you hold the palette right up to your face, haha.

All the colors in this palette are so beautiful and I can’t wait to use them!! I would recommend getting this palette if you have the chance. What are your thoughts?

Eyeshadow is one of my most favorite things and you cannot get any better than fall toned eyeshadow. I mean, fall is the best season. So, when I saw this palette had so many gold and copper toned eyeshadows I knew I had to have it. This wonder is The Nubian palette by Juvia’s, and it’s my new favorite thing.

I’ve heard so many people raving about this palette and it looked so amazing. It has every warm neutral color you need from light to dark. There’s so many gold, copper, and burnt orange shades, but there’s also some really nice warm browns. I love the combination of mattes, shimmers, and really shimmery eyeshadows. It’s everything you could need.
I swatched a few of my favs and as you can see, the super shimmery ones have unreal pigment. I love to put a shimmery color on for a base, then a really shimmery one in the crease and then a matte color in the outer and inner corner. I prefer to put matte shades in the outer corner because I feel it gives more definition.

What do you think? Any fall eyeshadows I need to know about?
Love,
Lexi

Hello! Today I wanted to share with you some of the new lip kits Kylie Jenner brought out for summer. I am obsessed with her lip kits and I keep buying more and more (and she keeps bringing out more, Kylie pls I’m going broke). The three shades I bought are Ginger, Maliboo, and Kristen and when I saw these three I knew I had to buy them. The matte lip kits are so amazing because the pigmentation of all of them is fantastic and they stay on all day. Also, the lip liner they come with is the best lip liner I have ever used. It’s super smooth and easy to put on and just overall absolutely amazing.

Ginger is a super pretty dark brown/orange shade. Normally, I don’t go for orange lipsticks but I really wanted to try something new. Especially since it’s summer and I wear lipstick pretty much everyday, so I want to mix it up with new colors.

Maliboo is a cool-toned nude. Nude lipsticks are always great to have, even though I do love a good bold lip. If you’re doing a more intense eye look, a nude lip is the way to good. So, I now have this matte nude to go with a cooler-toned makeup look, since I don’t have any cool toned nudes at the moment.

Kristen is a brown/strawberry pink shade. I never really thought pink lipstick would look good on me, but I’ve recently been wearing pink lipsticks a lot and loving them. This was a perfect dark pink shade to add to my newly growing collection of pink lipsticks.

I love these summer shades and can’t wait to get everything else that Kylie is bringing out! I’ll be doing a youtube video about 3 looks with these lipsticks so watch out for it on my youtube channel HttpLexi. What’s your favorite Kylie Cosmetics product? I hope you are all doing well and I’ll see you in the next post!

I think nude lipsticks are perfect for summer, especially if you are going for a warm toned makeup look. I’ve been wearing nudes all the time and I figured I’d show you some of my favorite nude lipsticks! First off I have this matte MAC lipstick in Velvet Teddy. This is a kind of rosey/pink nude. I’ve had this lipstick for a while and I love it, though you do need to keep reapplying it a few times throughout the day. Next is a Kylie lip kit in Exposed. This one is a bit darker which I really like and it has a more orange tone. Third, is the Too Faced Melted Chocolate lipstick in Chocolate Milkshake. This one is a little bit more sheer but has such a great color. It’s a pinkish orange tone and this fits so many different skin tones. Then there is a newer one I have which is the Winky Lux & Marzia Matte Lip Velour in Corallo. This is a peachy pink and perfect for summer. The formula is really creamy but looks kind of matte once it’s on, and applies so well. Last but not least is another Kylie lip kit (because I’m obsessed) in Candy K. This is the one I have been wearing the most this summer. It’s a matte, dark pink nude. Usually when I’m going places, I wear Kylie lip kits because they don’t come off very easily and I don’t have to worry about it very much when I’m eating or drinking.

That’s all! I hope you found a few that you like. Have a super great day.
Love,
Lexi
